Merman!Romano x Reader [RE-UPLOADED]

“Are you alright?” A voice asked. Though it sounded more annoyed than worried.

You turned around and could not believe what you saw.

There was a guy… no, a guy with a fish tail instead of legs.

You tensed up at your discovery. noticing this, the fishman has moved to you quickly covering your mouth roughly.

“Don’t you fucking dare.” he said menacingly which shocked you considering he was just asking if you were alright.

You relaxed after a little bit, but his hand was still placed on your mouth. A plan came into mind, causing a smirk to etch onto your face.

“EEWW!! WHY THE HELL DID YOU LICK MY HAND, BITCH?!” His reaction made you laugh before you went under the surface of the water again caused by you not concentrating on floating in the deep water.

“(F/n)? Are you okay? I heard a yell!” You mother yelled from the house. Crap. What were going to tell her about that? You just can’t tell her a-- a-- mermaid or whatever it is in front of you pulled you into the lake, she’d definitely register you into a mental asylum.

“Um… Just a minute!” You responded to your mother so she wouldn’t freak out.

You swam back to the dock. Looking back at the seemingly pissed of “mermaid,” a question came to your lips. “What’s your name?”

His head perked at the question. It took a couple seconds, but finally replied with a murmur: “...It’s Lovino.” He then dived back into the water.

“Lovino…” The name came smoothly off of your lips, you smiled. you then were back on mainland with a worried mother, but you did not anything, you just smiled.

The next couple of weeks you kept going to the spot you met Lovino.  You two chatted, much to his dismay at first, but bonded. You met his younger twin brother Feliciano you warmed up to you real quickly.

You wouldn’t be lying if you said your heart grew a soft spot for him. His pout he has on whenever you talked to Feliciano, and his beautiful green eyes that you swear can steal your heart away.
Ok, so maybe you had a crush on this fish male… only a little bit… or a lot. But you were human, he’s not. It could never work, you had to leave in a few days anyways.

“(f/n)!” The voice brought you back to reality. “Don’t go off to fucking space!”

You chuckled. “Sorry, sorry. Just thinking.”

“What about?”

You hesitated. “I’m leaving in a few days.” You looked to Romano, who had a tense look on his face and was staring at you with an unknown emotion before diving back into the water.

Confused by what happened you go back inside of your house, where your mother and father were waiting.

“Yeah. Yeah, ok, I’ll see you then.” Your mother chatted on the phone. It must’ve been work, that’s typically the only thing she uses her phone for. Your mother then hung up her phone and walked over to.

“Honey, I have an urgent meeting with the company, so your father and I are leaving a bit earlier than planned.”

To say your feelings weren’t hurt would be an utterly complete lie. This happened every year and the last few days you’d be at the cabin all by yourself. You smiled it off for your parents and told them it’s fine, like you always did and waved them goodbye when they left. Same thing every year.

A couple hours later, the light finally faded from the sky until stars littered the area. You always loved the stars. A bright, green light disrupted your attention towards the stars and to the source, which happens to be the lake. Out of pure worry, you rushed towards the lake, but by the time you reached it, the light stopped shining and you blinked so your eyes could adjust to the sudden light change.

What you found shocked you.

It was Lovino, but instead of his fish tail, he had two pairs of legs, like a normal human.

You hurried and picked up the passed out naked male and brought him into the cabin you put on a button up-light blue shirt and a pair of jeans your father left behind, thank god the more-or-less fit him.

when done dressing him, you laid him down on your bed, stroking his hair and avoiding his curl as he once told you to never, ever touch it. after a few minutes, his eyes started to flutter open, and you hastily pull your hand away.

He sat up slowly taking in his surroundings. When he spotted you, Started at you with a serious expression before he suddenly hugged you.

“Now you can’t leave.” he mumbled into your shoulder, clutching you even tighter. “Now you have to stay here.”

His words surprised you, but when you knew the meaning of them you started a chuckling fit which made him pull away and turn his face away from you blushing, “Shut the fuck up.” Was what he said before you pulled him into another hug.

“I love you, Lovino.” You said, which made him tense up.

Oh no. Did he not like that? He didn’t feel the same way? Oh, this bad! Bad, bad, bad!

Your thoughts were interrupted by a pair of lips being pressed onto yours. When you recognized it was Lovino, you eagerly kissed back. When the kiss was broken, he looked you in the eyes, and said, “I love you too.” he said before kissing you again, except more needy and rough.

“You know, I don’t know how this body works yet, would you mind if you taught me?” He said alluringly as he left longing kisses on your jaw-line and exposed neck.

“Sure.” You said weakly.

Lovino sure did know how to pleasure you.
